Hoarding may seem like a harmless activity, but it may have its roots in depression, anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder. The person suffering from this disorder tends to hoard or collect large masses of useless items. An obsession with goods and facing difficulty in trashing them is not a thing that can be treated easily. It’s related to a larger mental health condition and is linked with anxiety disorders. Obsessive compulsive disorder is one of them.
